Following a Wood Sculpture class at Howard University, New York native Michele Goosby learned of the many natural and exotic lumbers of the world. Coupled with her love for Afro centric and bold jewelry, she decided to make my own line of hand carved wooden jewelry. Her pieces span from domestic wood, such as Cherry and Oak, to foreign grown Mahogany, Ebony, and Tulip. See her line of jewelry here.
Philadelphia native and Howard University alum, Areeayl Yoseefaw Goodwin began creating jewelry to get her designs/art out of her head and into the world. Beads Byaree designs are imaginative, unpredictable, and made on a whim. Areeayl is most inspired by music and new design materials. See her line of jewelry here.
